How to wash woolen baby sweaters

Washing nonsuperwash wool baby sweaters may seem like a huge hassle, but it really isn’t. A nice warm bath of wool wash and a few minutes of work will get your woolen baby sweaters right back into shape. I decided the best way to show you how I wash my baby sweaters was to record a video tutorial of the process. Fletching was in need of a bath so I showed you the whole process I follow. The whole video is only 6 minutes long so you’ll see what I mean when I say it only takes a few minutes!

After watching the video, you should feel confident in how to care for your little wool sweaters and see why I say having to hand wash nonsuperwash wool isn’t a barrier to using it. If you are wondering why I don’t use superwash so I can just toss the sweater in the washing machine, you can read all about why I don’t like superwash in my Yarn Advice for Baby Sweaters blogpost.
